1. INTRODUCTION
ShopKichele respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data processed through its business management and point-of-sale platform.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with the ShopKichele Terms & Conditions and, where applicable, the ShopKichele Data Processing Agreement.
2. IMPORTANT DISTINCTION: OUR DATA AND YOUR BUSINESS DATA
ShopKichele may process personal data in two different capacities.

For these activities, ShopKichele may act as a Data Controller.
2.2 ShopKichele as Data Processor
When a Business enters customer, employee, supplier or other personal information into ShopKichele for the Business’s own purposes, the Business will generally determine why and how that information is used.
In those circumstances:
Business = Data Controller
ShopKichele = Data Processor
ShopKichele processes that information primarily to provide the Services according to the Business’s instructions and the applicable Data Processing Agreement.
This distinction is consistent with Kenya’s data protection framework, which distinguishes a controller that determines the purposes and means of processing from a processor that processes data on behalf of the controller.
